Update about Bas

Post by Franneke on Thu Mar 20, 2008 11:49 pm

Hi everyone,

As you may have already heard by now, After Forever will be taking a (well-deserved) year-long break. For more information about this please visit our website or one of our MySpace sites.
However, this doesn't mean I plan to sit still throughout the coming year! At the moment I'm putting all my time and energy into my own band - Rock Justice. Songwriting is well underway and so far we have already completed six songs.
The music I've been writing for Rock Justice is in quite a different vein from the music of After Forever; it represents a return to my musical roots and is all about the seminal metal bands from the 80's such as Mötörhead, Gotthard, Guns N' Roses and Mötley Crüe…. Make no mistake however; Rock Justice definitely has its own modern sound!
I am currently busy looking for the right people to fill the ranks of Rock Justice and get the band up and running. As soon as I have more on this you'll be the first to know.
We will soon be launching a MySpace site for Rock Justice, which will feature some rough mixes of a number of Rock Justice songs, so be sure to check the site on a regular basis! The site will also feature everything you need to know about Rock Justice, as well as regular updates about the band.
Last but not least I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the constant support that you have shown After Forever and me over the years, and I hope that you will continue to support me in the future with both After Forever and Rock Justice.
Cheers!

from Bas Blog

Tank Buster Jack goes on tour!!

Earlyer this year TBJ had to cancel their tour to Japan and the USA because of some shitty little accident that made it impossible for guitarist Gerrit to be on stage every day.
But now, recovered from his injury, he's back to rock and TBJ is ready to hit some stages!

Haven't heard Tank Buster Jack's music yet, but I'm curious about it.

It would be cool if I could make it to one of the US shows -- looking forward to those being announced.
